NMMS 2021-22: Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education (MoE) offers the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) annually to provide scholarships to students of economically weaker sections. Students studying in class VIII from any recognized board with parental income less than or equal to Rs. 1,50,000 are eligible to fill NMMS application form.
NMMS exam will held in March 2022 for most of the states, whereas the NMMS Puducherry exam will be held on March 6, 2022, and NMMS Goa and Chandigarh on February 6, 2022.
NMMS 2022 exam will be conducted for 180 marks which include two papers - Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Ability Test (SAT).
NMMS 2022 answer keys are released for the MAT and SAT exam soon after the exam.

State-level exam will release NMMS 2022 result.

Who will be provided with NMMS Scholarship 2022?
Students studying in “Kendriya Vidalayas and “Jawahar Vavodaya Vidyalayas” will not be eligible for the NMMS scholarship scheme.
Students who qualify for NMMS 2021-22 will be awarded a scholarship of Rs. 1000 per month from class IX till class XII.
Students should have attained a minimum of 55 % marks or equivalent grade in Class VII exams to apply for NMMS Scholarship 2022.

Main Objective Of NMMS Exam

The main objective of the NMMS Exam 2022 created by the Central Government is to motivate the students who are not able to get a good education because of their financial conditions. It will also help the students to get more studious and will help them to get tuitions without depending upon their family for the fees. The scholarship will help the students studying in the secondary and higher secondary level of education. It will also improve the rate of dropouts from the school after class 8th. Main Incentive Of NMMS Exam

A lot of incentives will be provided for the beneficiaries of NMMS Scholarship 2022:-Through the scholarship, financial assistance will be provided to the students every month.
Around 1 lakh scholarship will be provided under NMMS Scholarship 2022.
1000 rupees per month will be provided to the beneficiaries under this scheme.
The scholarship can be renewed every year till the students complete his or her secondary level education that is Class 12th.
To get the scholarship, the candidates must get their promotion in each class.
